Jessica,
I had a local bank call me wanting to know what E.F.M.T stood for. This is a horse person who also does therapy with massage etc. We have figured out that the e is for equine and the mt for medical tech. This person listed themselves as a certified efmt? Can you help? Thanks
Kell
If it were ESMT, I would say Equine Sports Massage Therapy!
If I were you, I would check with some of the professional associations -- one of them will probably know whether this represents a genuine certification program!
Try these:
International Association of Equine Sports Massage Therapists (1-800- 843-0224)
International Equine Triggerpoint Myotherapist Assoication (1-203-653- 9150)
TT.E.A.M. Training International (1-5-5-455-2945)
When you find out, would you let me know? Thanks!
