<3 helmet by MG

One day, during barn construction, my normally ring-quiet horse freaked out and bolted. I didn't have stirrups or reins, and was just lazing on his back. When he bolted, I landed behind the saddle. This sent him into a gigantic panic attack, and he took off bucking. I was unable to grab the reins and pull him up, and after about half a lap, I went flying. I hit my arm, my leg and my head on the fence, breaking through the board, and landed outside the ring. I still sport visible permanant muscle damage on my arm and leg from that fall, but if not for my helmet, I guarentee I would not have walked away from that fall...and my trip to the hospital would have been for a different reason.
