No matter how experienced, ALWAYS wear your helmet! by Deanna

A few years ago, when I was twelve, I was having a lesson on my instructor's lovable, spunky dressage mare named Juniper. While we were practicing, a trailer nearby our arena gave a loud bang when a rather big boned horse stepped heavily into the trailer. Juniper, being only five, spooked and bolted. She galloped around the arena and I tumbled off. I landed with my head on the arena rail and my legs straight up in the air. Luckily, I was not injured aside from a terrible ache in my head but my helmet was cracked in two. Since then I have never ever gone horseback riding without my helmet.

SO PLEASE WHERE YOUR HELMET...FOR YOUR OWN SAKE!!!!!!!!!!
